The Financial Planning Process
We are a service orientated business with advisers that engender very long term relationships with existing clients. New clients need to understand how the process will work and what to expect from West Park Investment Partnership Ltd in the future. A consistency of approach, with a strong ethos of fairness is paramount. This is described below.
Given the long term nature of the plans that we advise on it is important for us to emphasise that, whilst we are able to provide ‘one off’ or project based work, developing a long term relationship is at the core of our offering. A consistency of approach across the team with a strong ethos of fairness and transparency is important to all the work that we carry out.
This meeting will be free, with no obligation on either side. It will be used to establish whether we have grounds for a long term, business relationship based on your needs. The meeting will provide an outline of the client’s situation and plans and we will outline our service and fees.
Information gathering and understanding the client
This will involve the collection of relevant information relating to existing plans and investments following your authority to approach product providers. In addition, this stage will provide information about your personal financial circumstances and goals as well as embarking on the first stage of establishing your Attitude to Risk.
We will review your circumstances, outline an initial plan and agree your priorities.
Following the second meeting
Our team will construct a tailored financial plan and outline this in a detailed report and on agreement from the client, we will implement the plan.
We will meet regularly over the years to monitor and review the plans to ensure their continuing suitability to the clients changing circumstances.
